On December 17, 2024, at approximately 5:42 PM, Det. Clement and I, Det. Mccullar, responded to the Pinal County Juvenile Detention to speak with suspect, who had requested to speak with us. I was contacted by Jail staff prior who stated that now wanted to speak to us and give us his side of events. We confirmed that was not coerced and had voluntarily requested our presence.

I proceeded to read

Serena Lewis was called via phone and put on speaker while the interview took place. provided a detailed account of his involvement in an armed robbery and homicide that occurred on November 22, 2024. He explained that he had been friends with ( for approximately five to six months and had been introduced to other individuals involved, including ( and ( on the day of the incident. stated he heard about and several times through but had not met them until the day of. did state he has seen ( a few times since she is s girlfriend. stated that had tried to get him to go with him and on prior licks. Licks, as explained by is slang for robberies. stated stated he and have done several prior and never had any issues.

However, never actually saw the gun. approached a car with two occupants. admitted to pointing a gun at the driver (Sergio "Chronic" Munoz) while attempting to take items from the car. A struggle ensued, and a gunshot was fired. then fled the scene with a bag of stolen items. He later disposed of his gun in a trash bin at his house. (This trash is picked up weekly from the residence). did state he handed off the stolen bag to at some point after they fled the scene. During the robbery, and
