further interviews and the importance of cooperation in the ongoing investigation. This was due to the video of the car wash where several other individuals were seen around the vehicle prior to my initial contact with Sergio. It was explained that several prints were taken from the vehicle and we needed elimination prints from those individuals. Throughout the conversation, Sergio's mother expressed concerns about the impact of the incident on their family and Sergio's future. I provided them with information about victim support services and reassured them that the investigation was ongoing and that they would be kept informed of any significant developments.
