GILA RIVER SHOWS OFF
It’s rare to find flowing water in the arid river bed of the Gila River in Buckeye, but water still flows in a handful of places. InBuckeye Publisher David Kennard set out in search of flowing water just west of State Route 85 in West Buckeye; what he found was the Gila showing off the evening sky as the desert river gurgled slowly west.
