BUSINESS
Can you share a little about your family’s roots and what brought you to Maricopa? My journey started when I came to the U.S. at only 2 years old, brought here by my hardworking Hispanic parents who dreamed of a better future. Their courage and sacrifice have been the fire that drives me every single day. What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you personally? Hispanic Heritage Month means so much to us because it’s a reminder of the struggles and sacrifices our families made to give us the opportunity to pursue the American Dream. For me, that dream has always been about hard work, resilience and providing nothing less than quality and the best customer service possible. What was the biggest challenge you faced when opening or staying open, and how did you overcome it? Like many business owners, starting out was not easy. I worked my way up from the field — years of labor, becoming a foreman, then a superintendent, then a sales rep — until I finally built my own roofing company. Every day is still a learning experience, but with every roof we complete, we grow stronger and more committed to serving our community. What makes your business unique in the community? At Venzor Roofing, we’re proud to help our neighbors here in Maricopa one roof at a time, giving peace of mind, whether it rains or shines. Maricopa for collaboration or support? Absolutely. I want to recognize and give a big shoutout to other incredible Hispanic business owners in Maricopa who inspire and motivate us every day, including 911 Air Repair, AZ Quality Plumbing, Inside & Outdoor Repair Services, Maricopa Pool Ops and many more. How do you hope to inspire, or what advice would you give the next generation of Hispanic entrepreneurs? To my fellow Hispanic entrepreneurs: Sí se puede. With hard work, resilience and community support, anything is possible. Have you connected with other Hispanic-owned businesses in
