Why Are We Here? In Arizona, over 500,000 children are left unsupervised after school, putting them at greater risk of dangerous activities or becoming victims of crime. Every child deserves a safe, supportive space to grow and thrive. That’s why we provide meaningful after-school programs that inspire learning, foster social and emotional well-being, and support families in need. Our evidence-based programs include: • Healthy Habits • Positive Action • STEM & Lego League • Summer Brain Gain • Triple Play These programs are designed to empower young minds and shape their futures. Who We Serve Every year, we proudly serve over 1,200 youth across Pinal County. We are committed to fostering safe, positive, and inclusive environments that reflect the diverse socio-economic, racial, and
cultural backgrounds of our communities. Guided by our mission and values, we believe in the potential of every child to succeed and thrive. Our Maricopa Story In August 2020, we opened our first Maricopa Club at Santa Cruz Elementary School, embarking on a mission to empower local youth. Our success led to expanding programs to Saddleback Elementary and introducing a before- school program at Santa Rosa Elementary to meet the growing need. Through our partnership with Maricopa Unified School District (MUSD), we now impact all six MUSD elementary schools, serving approximately 160 Club Members daily. We’ve also enhanced our School Break Camps, reaching even more children. As Maricopa continues to grow, so do we. Our goal is to provide transformative programs for every youth aged 5 to 17. Together, we can shape the future of our community—one young mind at a time.
