BRIEF

1 Blooming Donuts Blooming Donuts recently earned national recognition after being named to DoorDash’s “Donut Day Dozens” list, which highlights 100 top small- and medium-sized donut shops across the country. The ranking was based on customer ratings, reviews and popularity on the delivery platform. Owner Sokvimom Koa said she learned of the honor from customers who stopped by the shop, located at John Wayne Parkway and Maricopa Fiesta Drive. According to public records, the 7,000-square-foot building would include a chapel, reception hall, arrangement rooms, offices and support spaces for funeral services. Site plans also show a garden area with a gazebo and parking for 61 vehicles. The project would reduce the need for many residents to travel to neighboring communities for end-of- life services. 3 Copa Farmers Market The market is moving indoors for the summer while continuing to expand its lineup of local vendors and agricultural producers.
