WHAT DO YOU KNOW NOW YOU WISH YOU KNEW BEFORE MOVING TO MARICOPA?
We asked followers of InMaricopa’s facebook page:
Mari Steermann How many nice people I’d meet, but it was a great surprise!
Cathy Hill Barnella Didn’t know how quickly it would grow and keep growing. I miss the small town we moved to in 2004. We moved out of Rancho to 3.3 acres, 10 miles out of town to escape! Love our Maricopa!
King Jay Carter How it’s only one way in and one way out. 😊 the 347 Highway.
Jamie Morano That people would complain about every single little thing every chance they get and somehow blame the mayor, Christian Price, for everything! Oh! And that they have no clue how business works. Becky Betta Love Maricopa but I wish I could have seen into the future to know how quickly things would expand. I chose Maricopa and embraced the longer work commute specifically to avoid living with as many people. I was hoping to hold on to the smaller community feeling.

Liz Morris Seymour Utility costs are double, and the number of flies and mosquitoes are horrible! Otherwise, I think people here, are for most part, more friendly.
Wendy Carne I wish I knew that the city planners would continue to build more subdivisions and not build stores and services to keep up with growing demand due to the number of homes being built.

Follow InMaricopa on Jeffery Orn Definitely the smell of the cows, didn’t have a clue. When I decided to purchase a home here, I never once had cow smell until after I moved in, what a surprise that was. I didn’t know the mosquitoes were prevalent here, I thought I got away from those little blood suckers. { }
Mari Copa Now if all these complainers would move out and spread the word how horrible it is here, the rest of us can go back to our happiness.
