18 THEORY PRESCHOOL A franchisee filed a pre‑application in June to convert the former Casa de Oración church into a Theory‑brand preschool. The proposal preserves the 3,140‑square‑foot structure while adding classrooms and about 3,000 square feet of fenced outdoor play space. The center would accommodate up to 59 children and aims to become DES‑certified to serve lower‑income families, expanding local childcare capacity. 19 THAI CHILI 2GO Chandler-based Thai Chili 2go will open a new location at Heritage West Retail Plaza, offering fast-casual Thai cuisine near the site of the planned 123,000-square-foot Fry’s Marketplace.

20 UNNAMED WAREHOUSE CAMPUS Texas-based Caracaca Capital and Tempe-based Okland Capital submitted pre‑application plans for a 1.7 million- square-foot warehouse, industrial and office complex on a 119-acre site. The proposal includes seven speculative buildings near the Hayden Estates community, which is planned for about 500 single-family homes. The campus could require up to 239,000 gallons of water daily, with peak use approaching 700,000 gallons — still below current agricultural demand. 21 VIET TABLE A new sign installed in May teases the arrival of Viet Table, a Vietnamese restaurant and bar concept set to replace the long-standing Millstone Café in downtown Buckeye. The location, across from Argento’s Pizza & Wings, marks the latest step in efforts to develop a more walkable central business district.

Lance and Rochelle Dethloff launched Water Walking Pool Service & Repair after buying into their boss’s pool business. The Buckeye-based couple—recent Air Force veteran and native, and her Michigan-born husband—now offer weekly maintenance, equipment repair, acid washes, automation upgrades and emergency service from sunup to sundown, handling both residential and commercial inground pools.
