1 A-KINGDOM ASSISTED LIVING Abrazo Medical Group opened its new Verrado Clinic inside the 60,000-square- foot Abrazo Medical Office Building near Verrado Way and Interstate 10. The 21,000-square-foot facility offers cardiology, orthopedics, neurology and sports medicine through Biltmore Cardiology, Arizona Sports Medicine Center and Abrazo Brain & Spine. The clinic expands specialty care options for Buckeye residents with advanced services under one roof. 2 ATI PHYSICAL THERAPY ATI Physical Therapy opened its second Buckeye clinic inside the new Abrazo medical building on Verrado Way. The site expands the company’s presence alongside its existing Watson Road location and provides physical therapy and rehabilitation services to residents. The ribbon-cutting ceremony drew city officials, chamber members and community leaders celebrating the clinic’s role in supporting Buckeye’s growing healthcare network.

5 EPCOR After a two-year pause on new housing, EPCOR Water Arizona has been cleared to supply as many as 60,000 future homes in Buckeye, Surprise and other West Valley communities. State regulators approved the utility’s plan under new water-management rules that loosen a 2023 construction moratorium tied to groundwater use. The October decision also lets Buckeye tap the Harquahala Basin for part of its future supply, marking a major step toward unlocking long-stalled development. 6 FIRST WATCH First Watch opened at 840 N. Verrado Way in Buckeye. The 3,900-square-foot restaurant seats more than 180 guests and features a covered patio and interior bar. The daytime café serves made-to- order breakfast, brunch and lunch with dishes such as omelets, avocado toast, “Million Dollar Bacon” and lemon ricotta pancakes. The Buckeye location also offers the brand’s seasonal rotating menu and signature Project Sunrise coffee, sourced from women farmers in South America. 7 IN-N-OUT BURGER Construction is underway on Buckeye’s first In-N-Out Burger at 1050 N. Verrado Way in the Buckeye Commons development. The restaurant site near Interstate 10 now shows visible framing as work progresses on the popular California-based chain’s newest location. In-N-Out will join a growing lineup of national retailers and restaurants in one of the city’s busiest commercial corridors. 8 MCDONALD’S A third McDonald’s location is under construction at Buckeye Commons. The new restaurant joins existing sites on Watson Road and inside Walmart. The expansion coincides with the chain’s nationwide push to lower prices and reintroduce Extra Value Meals offering $5 breakfast combos and $8 lunch and dinner meals.

9 ONE STORY SOCIAL DINING One Story Social Dining is preparing to open at 19580 W. Indian School Road, Suite 101, in Verrado. The New American restaurant will serve brunch, lunch and supper in a social dining atmosphere designed for gatherings. Its patio and early online following have already generated buzz as the concept readies to join Buckeye’s growing restaurant scene. 10 RAISING CANE’S Raising Cane’s has started construction on its first Buckeye location at 1080 N. Verrado Way in the Buckeye Commons retail center near Interstate 10. The Louisiana-based chicken tender chain is known for its simple menu of chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and Cane’s Sauce. 11 SEE’S CANDIES See’s Candies joined Sourdough & Co., CityVet, Great Clips and NextCare on the tenant lineup for Verrado Marketplace. The 500,000-square-foot shopping center at Verrado Way and Interstate 10 is under construction with foundation and road work underway. Anchors will include Target, Safeway, Ross, Marshalls and Harkins Backlot. Most stores are slated to open in mid-2026, with the theater following that fall. 12 W&Z ASIAN BISTRO & SUSHI BAR W&Z Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar is now open at Sunrise Market in Verrado. The restaurant serves Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine with a focus on sushi, offering dishes such as Mongolian beef, orange chicken, sashimi combos and specialty rolls. Located at 20960 W. Sentinel Drive, Suite 102, W&Z provides a new option for both casual dining and special occasions in Buckeye. 13 WHATABURGER A Whataburger restaurant is planned for the southeast corner of Verrado Way and Roosevelt Street. The 2,725-square-foot building will feature a two-lane drive-thru and parking for 30 vehicles within The Mix, a planned commercial center that will also include Chipotle, EOS Fitness and other shops.

Christian Brothers Automotive hosted its third annual Day of Service, helping about 30 Buckeye families get safely back on the road in October. The shop provided free oil changes, repairs and parts, supported by local partners including Buckeye Police Department, Mirna’s Place, Helping Hands for Single Moms and several auto suppliers. Owner Stacey Jarrett said the event was filled with “tears, smiles and gratitude” as volunteers came together to assist neighbors in need.

Desert Financial Credit Union is building a full-service branch at Buckeye Commons. The location will be the city’s second, joining an in-store branch and ATM inside the Walmart Supercenter on Watson Road. Founded in 1939, Desert Financial operates more than 50 branches statewide, offering consumer and business banking, mortgages and auto loans.
